Marketing Specialist – Direct to Consumer (D2C)Monitors, develops, and maintains the D2C/marketplace portal environments to optimize the performance and channel growth opportunities, ensures the searchability of D2C/marketplace channels through best-in-class SEO and leads digital shelf merchandising on the platforms. Develops and executes performance-based metrics, analysis and action to stimulate and optimize D2C/marketplace results and new business opportunities with a strong emphasis on growing the Amazon business both direct and Marketplace environment. Plans, develops and executes Meta digital campaigns to grow brand awareness and grow conversion rates.Please note this is a full-time opportunity. Office based work will be performed from our Mississauga office at Ambler Drive. Responsibilities:

  • Leads the strategy, execution and optimization of Panasonic Canada's Amazon PPC growth profitability and brand recognition. Creates, executes and manages Amazon campaigns including keyword research, day to day optimization and reporting.

  • Contributes to and monitors the Amazon PPC budget and forecast. Engages Amazon Marketing Group (AMG) for planning and execution of sales and marketing activities to ensure that the business delivers profitable, sustainable growth and the right return on investment.

  • Plans, develops and executes digital marketing campaigns, and promotions on Meta, to build brand, channel and category awareness to achieve customer experience, engagement and monetization goals across D2C channels. Evaluates, monitors and improves searchability of D2C channels through best-in-class SEO tactics.

  • Monitors, manages and reports on the marketplace and portal environments of D2C channels including buy box management, out of stock monitoring, map compliance with 3P oversight/monitoring, customer care investigation and follow up, active SKU management and collaboration with logistics stakeholders for unique D2C support to enhance brand and product visibility and increase D2C business metrics.

  • Develops promotional strategies tailored to the eCommerce marketplace (e.g., Walmart, BestBuy, Costco, Home Depot etc.). Manages and optimizes product listings on various online marketplaces, content syndication, develops and implements strategies to increase sales and profitability on all marketplaces. Ensures product listings are attractive and competitive.

  • Develops and manages KPI dashboards to measure the performance of ecommerce channels and generates market, industry and shopper insights to share across marketing and ecommerce teams.

  • Provides support for ongoing eCommerce and D2C efforts including promotional email campaigns, ecommerce digital campaigns, and e-store operations.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree, Community College Diploma, or equivalent relevant experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, shopper marketing, or related discipline.

  • 2-4 years related experience.

  • Solid understanding of eCommerce platforms and digital shelf merchandising.

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, GTM, SEO, online CMS (content management systems) required.

  • Proficiency in project management is beneficial and experience with Monday.com an asset.

  • Solid understanding of sales & marketing actionable KPI's. Working knowledge of content syndication tools, SAP and Salesforce Marketing Cloud would be beneficial.

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Problem solving required for analyzing and evaluating business issues and opportunities, analysis of eCommerce analytics, competitive activity, marketing and sales program results to develop eCommerce strategies.

  • Time and resources management in an effective manner to meet project deliverables. Utilizes digital tools to research competitive information.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain rapport with key internal and external stakeholders, and influence internal and external customers to get buy in to the roadmap, campaign design, and growth opportunities.
